Okie Solar is a fantastic company. In the past, my wife and I had a terrible experience with a solar company that resulted in us bailing on the whole project, and frankly, deciding we didn't want to commit to solar again in the future. However, this past year, we hesitantly met with one of the managers at Okie Solar, Dirk Neitzel, who sat down with us an answered the 1 millions questions we had for him. Today, Okie Solar is the only solar company that I would fully trust to recommend to someone else. Solar is something we have always wanted to invest in as a way to positively contribute to the environment, but Okie Solar is the first company that not only made it financially feasible but outright profitable for us to make the move to solar. It's been ~1 year since I got my solar panels installed and so far they have been working great. The only hiccup was that there was something called a "pearl certification" in the proposal that I hadn't heard back about after reaching out a few times. Once the owner Rick was made aware of the issue though he got back to me in under 24 hours and made things right! I'm happy to recommend them! Previous Post from Early 2025: Overall the process was good and I got what I wanted. Okie solar was the oldest solar company I could find based on Oklahoma which carries some confidence. Additionally while not being the cheapest company to go with, their prices were very reasonable after negotiations. The only thing I would beware of are. 1. Okie solar has a $1,000 referral bonus so there's an incentive for a review to not be completely accurate. 2. For the placement of panels the people I spoke with didn't sound confident that what they had picked was the best so I would do your own research on how to place them if you have trees or other local instructions. 3. While not the most organized, they always did what needed to be done for a good result.

Okie Solar is a fantastic company. They were recommended by my realtor when shortly after purchasing my home, I was inundated by door-to-door solar companies. My solar was installed in 2024. This year they came to inspect my roof and found that I need a new roof due to the storms. Okie Solar is my roofer of choice, because they are totally professional, understand not only my solar system and can also coordinate that with the installation of my new roof, and customer service is their #1 priority. Amna and Rick are professional, knowledgeable and caring. They are the best! They will be my go-to company for years to come!

Okie Solar was amazing. They came to our home with an professional team of experts. They came in and assessed our roof and within a couple of days we had a plan and financial figures. They did request a down payment of half the total cost of the project to get on the schedule. And that is understandable considering the costs of materials associated with such projects. Their electrical team came out and removed our 16.3KW, 44 panel solar array. Unfortunately, we were battling weather and active leaking in our roof. It rained for days but Rick, Amna and Matt assured us they would get the job done as soon as weather permitted. A break in the weather came and their roofing crew got to work. It took roughly three days to complete demolition and removal of the old roofing material, and installation of the new TPO roof. This is a flat roof, and it required special considerations. Considerations the original solar installers neglected, causing serious damage to the mod-bit roof that was there before. Not more than a day later, Okie Solar's electrical team returned to install the array. During the process, two of our panels were damaged, Okie Solar replaced them at no cost to us. The installation took two days and we were back online, producing power. Amna came for final inspection and suggested that the solar crew return and tidy up a few visible wires. They cam the next day and did the work. The project was not cheap, but the final outcome is without price. We are so grateful to Rick and his team for making things right and fixing damage done by the botched installation of another company that has since gone out of business. Big thanks to Okie Solar for the work they did for us, making our home whole again. And thanks to our neighbors across the street for suggesting we contact you.

Newest Update on our Solar Panels. So before you swipe or read something else, this review are very positive when we are working with them, to pick their company for our solar. I know now why it takes too long for them as follows. 1. They're concerned about their people because of the weather. I hope all companies are like this. 2. They're more on quality over quantity. They wanna make sure that everything will work out. 3. They do their job so seriously, passionately and professionally. 4. All of their workers are polite, especially the electrician. I know they're just doing their job, but the number 3 is for real. 5. I give credits also to the owner, Sir Rick. Thank you for your understanding of the situation between your workers and the customer. Pick this company to work with your Solar, they are legit and amazing people to work with. " Let's Support Small Business " They have started working on our panels since July 7, the week after they need someone to check our gas and put the generator and now we have to wait for 2 weeks because they're back up and I don't get it. I was so proud that I got your company to work on our solar panels, and yes! September 10, we're gonna start paying up the loan. Is there any way that you're gonna pay it for us because I don't wanna pay 2 bills for our electricity? Update.. I'm grateful because the owner listen to us, the reason that they're back up because workers get sick because of the heat. I totally got it because I have lived in the Philippines for a long time.
